Lens Review: Neo Dali Extra Violet

*blows off dust*

Hello peeps.

I know this blog has been quiet for over a month now but those who knows me, knows that I only write if I have something to say and well, I just haven't had anything geeky or extraordinary coming my way lately. Today, I finally got my chance to review a pair of lenses that I opened during the end of 2016 and have wanted to review since then. Said pair of lenses are no other than the Neo Dali Extra Violet! Some reasons for not being able to review them back in the days was because of polar night (few hours of sunlight during the second half of the year), crappy weather and other hindrances for both me and my trusted photographer, Shiro Samurai.

Today the weather looks great and both of us have a hole in our schedules around noon, so we decided to get the review out of the way. I put on the lenses around 09:30, without any problems, and around 11:10 I packed my stuff and dragged myself to bro's place.

Color: 7/10
It shows that these are dark purple but it's not the kind of lenses that "pop" at you or are clearly in-your-face purple. You will see that the person is wearing lenses at a distance but you won't distinguish the color unless you get closer to the wearer.
Comfort: 9/10
The instant I put them in my eyes I barely felt them, I actually didn't try these on until today, which is always an appreciated surprise when trying out new lenses. I have worn these for around 3 hours and they feel great!
Design: 6/10
I like the black outer ring effect! Otherwise these have a pretty common/generic lens pattern, in my opinion.
Enlargement: 5/10
There is a small enlargement in these but nothing that will look off on me, luckily. Yeah, small eyes here.
Naturalness: 6/10
These lenses have a soft and dark shade of purple and therefore they don't exactly "pop" at you, they look surprisingly natural-ish compared to some other lenses I have reviewed in the past. They shouldn't scare that granny next door... or at least not at first sight.
Opacity: 6/10
The opacity is there but it isn't striking. Your real eye color shines through around the pupil as these mostly cover the iris' corners.
